Journal of Quantitative Linguistics
Edited by Emmerich Kelih
The Journal of Quantitative Linguistics is interested in work which systematically applies or develops mathematical and/or statistical concepts and methods to theoretical understanding of language phenomena. This covers the range of synchronic and diachronic subdomains of “theoretical” linguistics (phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics etc.) and “applied” linguistics (sociolinguistics, historical linguistics, cognitive linguistics, pragmatics, text analysis, quantitative stylistics etc.). The introduction of mathematical and statistical concepts and methods from the natural sciences, physics, and cognitive science is particularly encouraged. A particular focus is the further theoretical foundation and empirical analysis of linguistic laws as like Zipf’s, Menzerath-Altmann’s law, Piotrovskij law and others.

Peer Review Policy: All articles in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and refereeing by two anonymous referees.
JQL and IQLA: The Journal of Quantitative Linguistics was founded in 1994. When the International Quantitative Linguistics Association was founded somewhat later in the same year, a contract was made between the editor, the Association, and the publisher. This contract regulates the role of JQL as the official journal of IQLA. IQLA members can subscribe to the journal under favourable terms.

Glottometrics
Edited by Ján Mačutek and Radek Čech
The Glottometrics is an open-access journal for the quantitative research of language and text published twice a year by International Quantitative Linguistics Association (IQLA). The aim of Glottometrics is quantification, measurement and mathematical modeling of language phenomena. We invite contributions on probabilistic or other mathematical models and statistical analyses of language and text data. For further information, including a guide for authors and details for manuscript submission, go to the journal website.
Indexed in Web of Science and Scopus.
Publisher: International Quantitative Linguistics Association (IQLA)
eISSN: 2625-8226
Glottometrics and IQLA: The journal was established in 2001 by a pioneer of Quantitative Linguistics Gabriel Altmann and it was published by RAM-Verlag until 2021. Glottometrics has been published by IQLA since 2022.

De Gruyter Book Series Quantitative Linguistics
Edited by: Reinhard Köhler, George Mikros and Arjuna Tuzzi
The series Quantitative Linguistics publishes books on all aspects of quantitative methods and models in linguistics, text analysis and related research fields. Specifically, the scope of the series covers the whole spectrum of theoretical and empirical research, ultimately striving for an exact mathematical formulation and empirical testing of hypotheses: observation and description of linguistic data, application of methods and models, discussion of methodological and epistemological issues, modelling of language and text phenomena.
