INFO FOR POSTER PRESENTERS
The size of an ideal poster is A0. It is the best if a poster is one piece (in our case, an A0 page), and if it is colour.
Of course, you may choose black and white, and a different format.
We will provide blue tacks/tapes/pins to put up your poster with, so you do not need to bring any of these.
You may also want to prepare handouts to go with your presentation as well, so that people can take them home. The handout may simply contain the material in your poster in a layout appropriate for A4 sheets.
If you do not want to travel with a huge poster, see Printing/Copying under Local Information, where it is written about the opportunity to print your poster in Olomouc.
We look forward to seeing you at QUALICO 2014!

submissions. Registrations may eventually be cancelled until February
15, 2014, at the latest.
There will be no participation fees.
We are able to offer all foreign presenters (also poster presenters) contract/agreement for preparing their presentation during the conference. The amount will be sent to their bank account in June 2014. The exact amount will be agreed via email and the contract will be signed personally at the registration on the first conference day. How to Come to Olomouc?
We recommend to fly to the airports in Prague (3.5 hours from Olomouc) or in Vienna (4.5 hours from Olomouc).
The easiest way to get from Václav Havel Airport Prague to the main train station (Praha, hlavní nádraží, sometimes abbreviated to Praha, hl. n.) is to take the Airport Express (AE) bus. It stops right in front of the arrival hall (a bit to the right, the last bus stop) and takes you directly to the main train station which is the terminus. You buy the ticket from the driver for CZK 60 (about EURO 2.5, but the driver does not accept foreign currencies, so you have to exchange money at the airport, try to have a 200 crown note or less). The ticket machines at the stop do not sell this ticket. This bus goes every 20 or 30 minutes.
You can also take trams and buses and go by subway (Metro), but it is more complicated. You can take the bus to the station Dejvická, where you change to subway C (red line). Get off at the stop Hlavní nádraží (main station).
The direct trains from Prague to Olomouc go very often. The journey takes 2.5 hours. There are three train providers and they have different tickets and sales places. We recommend you use comfortable yellow trains (REGIO JET) and book the ticket here
ČD (České dráhy)
If you have any questions about transporting from Prague, Petra Martinková can help you find the concrete suitable train or bus for you. Do not hesitate to contact her via mail
The easiest way to get from Vienna Airport to the train station Meidling is to take the bus. More information about transport from Vienna Aiport find here. You can take the train from Vienna-Meidling to Olomouc. You can find the suitable form of transport here.
We recommend taking the Student Agency
yellow coach which goes directly to Olomouc (3 times daily). It is better to buy it on the Internet and do not forget to print your tickets.
The journey takes about 3.5 hours.
If you have any questions about transporting from Vienna, Jan Mačutek can help you find the concrete suitable train or bus for you. Do not hesitate to contact him via mail
